Leave a legacy for Forest Park - Include Forest Park Conservancy in your estate plan
Giving to the charitable causes that matter most to you during your lifetime is a meaningful and powerful way for you to express your personal
values and priorities. Remembering your most cherished causes in your estate plan is a way for you to ensure that the support you gave during
your lifetime can continue and that future generations will benefit from your generosity. The Forest Park Conservancy has been fortunate to
receive several such gifts in recent years from individuals who loved Forest Park and cared deeply about its future. Their gifts are helping
us restore and protect our beloved park.
One of the easiest ways to ensure your love of Forest Park continues is by naming Forest Park Conservancy as a beneficiary in your will or living trust. Here is sample language you can use:
"I give, devise, and bequeath to Forest Park Conservancy in Portland Oregon, the sum of $________(or a percentage of your estate), for the benefit of Forest Park Conservancy and its general purposes."
Forest Park Conservancy is a 501c3 organization and our Tax ID number is: 94-3103055.
Other ways you can leave a legacy that will ensure Forest Park is fully restored include:
- Gifts real estate or other property you own;
- Naming The Forest Park Conservancy as a beneficiary of your IRA or 401K plan;
- Making The Forest Park Conservancy the beneficiary of bank accounts using the Payable on Death or Transferable on Death designations; or
- Naming The Forest Park Conservancy as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy.
