Volunteer Crew Leader Training! January 31st

 

Join The Forest Park Conservancy's annual Volunteer Crew Leader Training: Restoration Edition! This training will  prepare volunteers to help lead habitat restoration projects at large-scale volunteer work parties in Forest Park. Crew leaders will be learn to identify invasive species, how to remove them and also how to identify and plant native species.  Along with all of this, you'll also learn about Forest Park's ecology, history, and how to be a stronger volunteer leader.

What: Volunteer Crew Leader Training: Restoration Edition

When: Saturday, January 31st, 10 AM - 4:30 PM 

Where: Meeting location to be determined. Check back here for updates.


Lunch will be provided. A classroom session will take place in the morning, followed by an afternoon of hands-on training in Forest Park.
