Tales From The Trails:

Spring is the best time for a walk with FPC!

We are loving the warmer temps and increased sunshine. Are you?

Spring marks the expansion of the Forest Park Conservancy’s Discovery Hikes Program. Led by FPC’s Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator, Guy Maguire, we have great options for you. Want to learn how to take amazing nature photos? Learn more about the park’s plant community? Or even get help figuring out which hiking shoes are best for you.

Our hike leaders are experts in their fields. You’ll meet Portland Parks & Recreation’s Ecologist, Kendra Morgan-Petersen or long-time professional photographer Bruce MacGregor, or KEEN Footwear staff who know everything there is to know about shoes. You can even go for a hike with a local brewer through our Beers Made by Walking project!

Here’s the complete schedule so far. Check our website for more updates as we’re always adding new hikes.
